TradeOps Consulting is the latest chapter in a long career. Before this, Jim Greer owned and operated a construction company for over 15 years, and ran two powersports dealerships before that. Different industries, same standard: do the work right or don't take the job.

TradeOps launched a month ago as the next step. Right now Jim is officially a consultant and handyman — but the truth is, the scope is anything from a single trimmed-out door to a finished basement to a barndominium build. The Class B contractor's license is in progress, expected within the next 30 days. Once it's in hand, new home construction opens up — booked for 2027.

The work currently on the schedule includes kitchen and bath remodels, finished basements, decks, additions, garages, pole barns, and a steady line of finish trim. Jim is also positioning to bid the finish trim package on the new casino being built nearby — fingers crossed.
